APLICACIÓN DEL ENFOQUE ÁGIL-ESBELTO EN LA CONSTRUCCIÓN: EXPERIENCIAS DE UN ESTUDIO DE CASO

Hace tiempo que la disciplina de gestión de proyectos ha intentado adaptarse a un enfoque que no esté tan desvinculado de los cambios que exige el entorno volátil del mercado. En la Construcción Civil, debido a la naturaleza predictiva de estos proyectos, la adopción de tales enfoques se vuelve aún más desafiante. Con base en esto, este trabajo tuvo como objetivo relatar las experiencias prácticas del uso de herramientas, técnicas y procesos del enfoque Ágil-Esbelto en 15 obras de una empresa de tamaño medio del sector de la Construcción Civil. Las evidencias cualitativas extraídas de este estudio de caso demostraron beneficios en la aplicación de este enfoque. No obstante, también se confirmaron soluciones que pueden implementarse para superar las barreras culturales señaladas en otros estudios. Finalmente, este trabajo aportó contribuciones tanto para académicos como para profesionales de la disciplina de gestión de proyectos, al ofrecer sugerencias que pueden aumentar la adopción de nuevas prácticas en la gestión de proyectos del sector de la Construcción Civil.
